This headspace takes a while to establish, so don’t get down on yourself if when the first time you sit, all you hear is your racing thoughts. It’s totally normal! Start by doing the dishes in silence and just focus on cleaning the dish. Fold your laundry and focus on your folds, being present with each new fold. Mindfulness is about being present in every moment in our lives.
